We had a wonderful stay for October half term! The lodge is very well equipped and comfortable. Beds were very comfortable, there was good storage, and it suited myself, my two kids and two dogs perfectly!
The site is well suited for dogs, the kids enjoyed the play area, and we ate at the food tent on site a couple times which was perfect for windy and rainy evenings when we didn’t want to venture too far. We made use of the games in the lodge which helped see us through a few stormy afternoons!
It is so well located with a supermarket just down the road and being so close to Padstow. We spend lots of time walking on the beach, our favourite being getting the ferry to Rock beach for walks and exploring.
We will certainly be booking again, we loved it! Thanks so much x
We stayed at the beautiful Stone’s Throw Lodge for 5 nights in August 2025, as a family of 4. We wished it had been longer! From the beautiful, well thought out interior and comfy beds and pillows, to the helpful kitchen essentials provided, every little thing had been taken care of! The welcome from the Reception, the selection of gorgeous local produce available from the market, the onsite tipi restaurant, the kids playground all contributed to a magical family trip. Wonderful location for exploring local areas and so much to do in the area! We highly recommend Stones Throw Lodge and hope to be repeat guests often!

Just had a fabulous week in Padstow staying at the wonderful Stones Throw lodge. The lodge was immaculate and the location is perfect to explore Padstow and all the surrounding dog friendly beaches. We have stayed at Lovat Park many times before and so pleased to have now found this superb well equipped gem of a holiday home!
Just home from a wonderful week in Cornwall, Stone Throw Lodge was a very pleasant surprise…( I say this from my past experiences staying on holiday parks) Helen’s lodge was very nice and comfortable, well equipped with all that you need to have a comfortable stay at the lodge.
We loved Padstow Holiday Village the village its very well maintained and all the staff where very friendly.

Beautiful, tranquil, clean, perfectly situated, lovely and so glad we found this accommodation. Not really one for 'caravan or lodge' holidays but I am so glad I stayed. Just amazingly modern, great hosts and our stay is nothing like I thought - If you are ever in doubt about booking here, don't be! It was fabulous.
We’ve had a fab week at Stones Throw Lodge. It’s a really beautiful lodge with everything we needed, plenty of space for the 5 of us and huge bonus that our dog Indie could stay too! The park itself is really lovely too, nice and peaceful. We ate at the Craftworks on site one evening too and the food was lovely. It’s a great location too, we had a lovely walk into Padstow and also visited the Giant slip and slide which is just 10 mins down the road from Padstow - it was great fun! We also hired bikes in Wadebridge and really enjoyed cycling to Padstow and back! Highly recommend Stones Throw Lodge 😊
Another wonderful stay! We returned in July, having had a lovely experience last year and continue to be impressed by the excellent location, spacious rooms and amenities and beautiful decor of the lodge. Would highly recommend and hope to be back again soon! Thank you
Beautiful, excellently equipped and comfy accommodation. We visited the Giant slip 'n' Slide which is so conveniently located. The Children enjoyed Camel Creek (You can buy a ticket and return again for free within 7 days), crabbing, food at the on-site restaurant. Def will be returning!
Just returned from a lovely week at Stones Throw Lodge . What a beautiful place to stay, really comfortable, clean and everything you could possibly need. Location is great for exploring Cornwall in general and only a twenty minute walk into Padstow. The enclosed deck was great for the dogs and the site is very dog friendly, ours really enjoyed the Canine Camper Stations!!!. Helen was a great host, we’ll definitely be returning
What can I say, we are absolutely in love with this lodge and Padstow. We stayed 2 weeks in June 2025. This was our second stay at the lodge as we stayed 1 week in June 2024 and realised it wasn’t long enough to soak up everything there was to enjoy. We are booked already to come back for two weeks Summer 2026 also!
Location is fantastic - 5 mins drive to Padstow or it is walkable via the scenic footpaths. Great location for Camel Creek days out for the kids as well as all the surrounding bays which are great for days out or watching the sunset on the beach. The kids play area is kept really lovely and the onsite Craftworks bar supplied great food and drinks at reasonable prices.
The facilities of the lodge are wonderful and the outdoor decked area gives us a nice safe space for our two little ones to play.
Thank you Helen for another wonderful stay and we cannot wait to return next!

Beautiful lodge in the stunning Cornish countryside. The accommodation was spotless and had everything you could possibly need for a trip with children. Helen was a great host, sent lots of information and was so helpful. 5 stars from our family, we'll be back.
Fantastic accommodation the best we have ever stayed in… everything you need for a comfortable stay was supplied by the host Helen.
The site was quiet, everyone was friendly, helpful.
Try out Craftworks the onsite food/drink place, we had the best burgers there.
Loads of beautiful places/beaches to visit nearby or short drive away.. recommend a trip to Carbis Bay and coast walk from there to St Ives.. Goliath Falls, Padstow sealife tour.. and Mariners pub at Rock for fish and chips!

Such a wonderful week at Stones Throw. Immaculate accommodation - peaceful location and superb weather! Excellent location for a family - recommend Polzeath, Porthcothan and Mawgan Porth beaches. Boat trip to Rock from Padstow also worth doing. Would definitely recommend a stay here and would return!

Super smart, super clean, super friendly quiet site. Toasty and cosy accommodation. Walk to Padstow was a wet and muddy one so bring wellies if you are planning this walk in the more wetter months. Lovely walk over fields and views as you approach Padstow town. Helen was wonderfully helpful and a great host. We will be back next year for our annual out of season holiday!
It was in a nice location, on a well maintained site, very close to Padstow. Good size property, very well equipped & some lovely homely touches.
Nothing major! Would have liked a nest of tables to use as nowhere to put drinks when sitting on sofa.

We couldn’t recommend Helen’s place enough, it’s in the most ideal location with a lovely walk into Padstow. The location is lively and quiet - we had the best nights sleep we’ve had in a long time 😴. The whole place was spotless and Helen was a dreamy host. We will absolutely be back again xx

The accommodation was exceptional: cleaned to a high standard and with a range of amenities (particularly useful as I had forgotten to bring some essentials!) The furniture and decorative items were all beautiful and in immaculate condition. Our children loved exploring the site and the facilities there were also brilliant - very family friendly, with: park, washing facilities, shop and ‘secret garden’ restaurant / bar. We were sad to leave and eager to return soon. Thank you ☺️

Wow, what a beautiful gem of a property we have found in Stones Throw lodge in Cornwall. Thank you for the most wonderful weeks stay for our first holiday as a family of 4. This property is by far the best of its kind that we have stayed in. So spacious and everything is to a high standard. There was better appliances at the lodge than we have at home! 😊 All the beds were lovely and comfortable. Great location, so much to do and brilliant host Helen. Thanks so much for our stay and cannot wait to come back next year.
Most gorgeous luxurious home from home. The booking itself was seamless start to finish, our host Helen was super friendly with our questions pre visit and even checked in on us during our stay. The lodge is beautiful, it is on the most amazing and well kept site. The facilities on the site are fabulous and location for Padstow and surrounding area is perfect. The Lodge was super clean, had the best personal touches which went down a treat after a long journey. It was the perfect home from home and we can't wait to book our next visit. Everything was lovely.

The location was great for getting about. There is a bus stop into Padstow at the end of the drive.
We liked everything it was perfect!
We felt very look after with a very comfortable and decorated lodge. Despite the weather not being ideal the 5 of us enjoyed the warmth and games provided. The onsite restaurant provided extremely tasty and well presented meals, good drinks and an interesting experience. We felt safe and secure in the lodge and on site. So many local things to do we are planning to return when we can!

We have just completed a wonderful week at Stones Throw Lodge, which has been both beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. The enclosed decking was perfect for letting the dog have some fresh air and keeping him safe. Helen was the perfect host. Great communication and a great site map was sent to us so there was no getting lost. Easy access with the Key safe. We would have no hesitation in recommending this accommodation to anyone seeking a fabulous holiday in Padstow. Such a peaceful site.
What a lovely van. So glad of the fully fitted kitchen. We managed to sit out on the decking in-between rain showers with a hot chocolate. We love walking on the deserted beaches at this time of year. Holly the dog also enjoyed the snacks that were on offer. Thanks. Will be back.
